Quarter Mile Foundation adds 15 pioneer interviews at 2013 Gainesville

The Quarter Mile Foundation used the gathering of drag racing and automotive aftermarket pioneers surrounding the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame induction dinner on March 14, 2013 at the Paramount Plaza Hotel & Suites in Gainesville, Fla. to add 15 interviews for the PROJECT 1320 documentary.

went to oswego in the late 60s , the race i remember the most was the BRUTUS PONTIAC  FUNNY CAR  beating a car called THE KANSAS BAD MAN ford falcon funny car 3 out of 3 . match race. i wonder what happened to those cars??

    My first 1/4 mile trip, 1965, (I was 16) was at the old Alton Dragway, Alton, Illinois. It was in a '57 Chevy hardtop, 283, powerglide. Allard Chrysler dragster restoration

Hi all

Not posted any news for a while so I thought I would update everyone. We took the car out of the museum for a few appearances during the summer. Now it has the 354 Chrysler Hemi and blower fitted it looks more the part. We took it to appearances at Silverstone, Santa Pod Raceway and even a Chrysler Jeep dealership. It is now

back in its home at the National Motor Museum Beaulieu. However, we are about to take it off display to continue the restoration during the winter.…
