Quarter Mile Entertainment has become Quarter Mile Foundation Corporation, a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit corporation (pending) under the Internal Revenue Service regulations, and is designated as an educational charity foundation.

Quarter Mile Foundation’s mission is to collect and archive the history of the sport of drag racing, and related aspects of the high performance aftermarket, focusing upon capturing the first person, oral histories of the surviving pioneers and legends. By crafting an episodic documentary film series from the accumulated oral histories, motion pictures and still images, Quarter Mile Foundation will provide an entertaining and educational retrospective about the birth and growth of a purely North American motorsport and the industry it launched for future generations.

As a foundation, even with the current “pending” status, the participants – corporate sponsors and members of the “Friends of PROJECT 1320” – receive the benefits of a charitable tax deduction for their participation with the Quarter Mile Foundation for the calendar or fiscal year of the contribution.
Drag racing and the performance aftermarket typify the AMERICAN DREAM. PROJECT 1320 will help chronicle how men and women with dreams and the drive to follow them built a major motorsport and a supporting industry with sweat and daring.
